- 1 lb American Wagyu Beef Hot Dogs
- 4 potato hot dog buns
- 1 tbsp neutral oil
Avocado Crema
- 1 avocado
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 1 lime, juiced
- 1 garlic clove
- Kosher salt to taste
For Serving
- 2 jalapeños
- 1/2 white onion, diced
- Fresh cilantro
- Hot sauce
RECIPE
Process
- Blend avocado, sour cream, lime juice, garlic, and salt until smooth. Refrigerate until needed.
- Heat flat top or cast iron griddle over medium-high heat.
- Add neutral oil and sear hot dogs 5–7 minutes, rotating frequently until blistered and caramelized.
- Grill jalapeños until lightly charred, then slice thinly.
- Toast potato buns lightly on the griddle.
- Spread avocado crema onto buns.
- Add hot dogs and top with jalapeños, diced onion, cilantro, and hot sauce.
